Are you familiar with IFTTT? It stands for If This Then That. It’s a website which allows people to cause one thing to happen as a result of another. You create applets to do things. Dollar Bits uses IFTTT to post our website’s articles to Facebook and Twitter automatically. You can use it for a variety of things, even turning on the houselights automatically in your home. Well, now Dominos is getting in the game.
“We understand how much people love using Domino’s Tracker, not only to know where their order is in the preparation and delivery process, but also to plan around that much-anticipated pizza arrival,” Dennis Maloney, Domino’s chief digital officer, said in a statement. “And now we’re empowering customers to unleash their imagination as they create new ways to integrate some of our favorite innovations, like Domino’s Tracker, into their everyday lives. Thanks to the endless possibilities of IFTTT applets, customers will be more connected than ever.”
So now you can order a pizza, then maybe turn on the lights or turn on the TV.
