Investing in the stock market is not supposed to be exciting. Ideally, you should be investing your money in small handful of index funds and just tracking the market. That is, unless you are smart enough to beat the market. If you can’t beat ’em — and believe me, most people can’t — then, join ’em. If 80% of the money managers can’t beat the market, and they have access to all sorts of information that you don’t, what makes you think you can?
